Talk Now Telehealth was inspired by the personal journey of our founder, an Australian woman and psychology student, who faced long wait times when seeking professional help for a challenging personal issue. Determined to find a solution that could offer immediate support to those in need, she envisioned Talk Now Telehealth.
During our founders professional internship she observed the challenges faced by mental health therapists significantly high operating costs, frequent last-minute cancellations with an extensive waitlist and minimal work-life balance resulting in therapist burn-out. These challenges were especially concerning as urgent cases and clients in remote areas struggled to access the care they needed. Driven by a desire to bridge this gap, Talk Now Telehealth was created.
The Talk Now Telehealth aim is to reduce client wait times and provide greater access to essential mental health services while supporting therapists to embrace a sustainable work-life balance and in return provide the best level of care to their clients.
Talk Now Telehealth welcomes registered Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Genetic Counsellors, GPs (mental health referrals and assessments), Mental health dieticians, Mental health nurses, Occupational therapists and Rehabilitation Counsellors throughout Australia and New Zealand
