All clinicians must hold current registration with their relevant professional governing body.

No. Clinicians on the platform operate as independent practitioners. You set your own fees, manage your own schedule, and clients pay you directly. Talk Now Telehealth provides the infrastructure — it does not employ clinicians or take a share of session income.

Session payments are collected through the platform and transferred to you automatically. Medicare claiming is handled through the integrated HICAPS system, making the process straightforward for both you and your clients.

The platform includes automated payment and reminder tools to reduce the risk. You can require a $50 holding deposit at booking, full upfront payment, or offer no booking fee for regular clients — whichever suits your practice. A $50 cancellation fee applies automatically for any cancellation within 48 hours.

All client and clinician data is stored on encrypted servers with restricted access controls. The platform is designed to meet applicable privacy standards in both Australia and New Zealand.
